Refugee Resettlement

The goal of providing such services to our newly arrived refugees is to facilitate and accelerate their ability to become self-sufficient, contributing members of our community.  The ACA helps refugees by:
  • Assisting with the search for clean, affordable and safe housing.
  • Insuring adequate food supplies.
  • Insuring the availability of sufficient clothing and toiletries.
  • Facilitating the availability of medical care and treatment.
  • Assisting with the search for gainful employment.
  • Assisting with the registration of school-aged children in the surrounding educational systems.
