ESL&GED/TASC CLASSES

ESL CLASSES

The Binghamton Adult Educational Program offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes that take place at the American Civic Association.  The morning classes are scheduled at our facility from Monday to Friday 9 am — 12 pm, while the evening classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 pm — 8 pm. These classes are free of charge to anyone over 18 years of age. Unfortunately, we do not offer any online classes.

GED/TASC CLASSES

The Adult Education Program also offers GED/TASC classes at the American Civic Association on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5 PM to 8 PM. This is a free program for anyone 18 years and older who has not completed the requirements for high school graduation and wishes to take the TASC test (the replacement for the GED test). Upon enrollment, students will take a reading and math assessment test to decide which class level would best suit their academic needs.
